Remote Control Aircraft
Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to design and build a fully functional RC aircraft capable of safely transporting a payload. I was primarily responsible for manufacturing and assembly, putting the aircraft together from individual components, soldering and routing electrical wiring, and connecting the onboard electrical systems. I also helped test the aircraft and troubleshoot issues throughout the build. This experience strengthened my hands-on engineering skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with both mechanical and electrical systems while bringing a complex design from concept to flight.
Stardust: High Power Rocket
Designed, built, and successfully launched a high-powered rocket earning my Level 1 High-Power Rocketry (L1 HPR) certification. The vehicle was powered by a Cesaroni 164H90-12A solid rocket motor and achieved an approximately 400 m apogee with a maximum velocity of 97.4 m/s. The project involved airframe design, propulsion and recovery integration, aerodynamic stability analysis, and flight-performance simulation. The successful flight validated the vehicle’s structural integrity, stability, and overall flight performance.
